Sujaiya Tiba, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) (she/her)
Starting therapy can be overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to even consider this step. My goal is to create a warm, accepting space where you can slow down, take a breath, and explore whatever has brought you here, at your own pace.
I work with people navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotion dysregulation, and self-esteem concerns. Together, we’ll look at what’s been feeling heavy or stuck and find practical ways to bring balance and meaning into your daily life.
My approach is grounded in science and guided by compassion. I draw from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also integrate self-compassion practices to help you connect more deeply with yourself and your emotions.
As a South Asian immigrant, I understand how culture, family, and identity can shape our experiences and influence how we move through the world. I aim to honour those layers by offering therapy that is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive.
Above all, I see therapy as a collaborative process. In our work together, you’ll lead the way. We go at your pace. I’m here to support and guide you as you move toward healing, self-understanding, and the kind of life that feels right for you.
Professional Qualifications:
